8-25-25   THOUGHTS

There is a “mutual relationship pride” in 2Cor 1:14.  We find the basis for that pride in verse 12...   The apostle’s behavior was “in holiness and godly sincerity in the world, by the grace of God!”  This is the pride of God’s design for His LOVE FELLOWSHIP!   It is to happen in His “BLOOD BOUGHT CHURCH”!  It’s time we worked on seeing the new testament Church the way God sees it. It was “AN ACTION GROUP!” Acts 2:44-47  “And all those who had believed were together and had all things in common;  45  and they began selling their property and possessions and were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need. 46  Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, 47  praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.”     Is this even a hope for us today?  Have we given up on the principles of the dream?    TIME, CONSISTENCY AND TOGETHERNESS are key!  This is how mutual relationship is built.
Php 2:6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped,

Php 1:27  Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you
are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
2Cor 1:12-14    For
our proud confidence is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you.  13  For we write nothing else to you than what you read and understand, and I hope you will understand until the end; 14  just as you also partially did understand us, that we are your reason to be proud as you also are ours, in the day of our Lord Jesus.

A Prayer:
O God, we lift up Your great name as we thank You for all love, grace and mercy.  Help us to share these attributes as we strive together with one mind and one heart.  May Your Spirit and Your words lead us to a proper intensity and zeal in our quest for a powerful abiding relationship with You.  May our lives be filled with Your presence!  Give us rejoicing spirits that look to things not seen, where Christ is seated at Your right hand.  In the name of our Savior,   Amen.
